Khoobsurat...

By My Orkut Friend, YUGAM

(The words are so nice and the meaning is so beautiful that I can't resist myself copying it down :)

Khoobsurat hain wo lab,
Jo pyari batein kertey hain...

Khoobsurat hai wo muskurahat,
Jo dusron k chehron par bhi muskan saja de.....

Khoobsurat hai wo dil
Jo kisi ke dard ko samjhey.....
Jo kisi ke dard mein tarpey...

Khoobsurat hain wo jazbaat
Jo kisi ka ehsaas karein...

Khoobsurat hai wo ehsaas
Jo kisi ke dard ka madawa baney...

khoobsurat hain wo batein
Jo kisi ka dil na dukhaein...

Khoobsurat hain wo ansoo
Jo kisi ke dard koMehsoos kerke beh jaein...

Khoobsurat hain wo haath
Jo kisi ko mushkil waqt mein tham lein..

Khobsoorat hain wo qadam
Jo kisi ki madad ke liyeaagey badhey !!!!!

Khoobsurat hai wo sooch
Jo kisi ke liye acha soochey...

Khoobsurat hai wo insan
Jis ko KHUDA ne ye Khoobsurti ada ki.............

Zindagi Hai choti, Har Pal mein khush raho

Wonderful thought..............

Zindagi hai choti, har pal mein khush raho...

Office me khush raho, ghar mein khush raho...

Aaj paneer nahi hai, dal mein hi khush raho...

Aaj gym jane ka samay nahi, do kadam chal ke hi khush raho...

Aaj Dosto ka sath nahi, TV dekh ke hi khush raho...

Ghar ja nahi sakte to phone kar ke hi khush raho...

Aaj koi naraaz hai, uske iss andaz mein bhi khush raho...

Jise dekh nahi sakte uski awaz mein hi khush raho...

Jise paa nahi sakte uski yaad mein hi khush raho

Laptop na mila to kya, Desktop mein hi khush raho...

Bita hua kal ja chuka hai, usse meethi yaadein hai, unme hi khush raho...

aane wale pal ka pata nahi... sapno mein hi khush raho...

Haste haste ye pal bitaenge, aaj mein hi khush raho

Zindagi hai choti, har pal mein khush raho

Dil Chahta Hain

From my previous posts at Ibibo

You might have heard the ghazal sung by Jagjit Singh
"Ye daulat bhi le lo, Ye shohrat bhi le lo
Bhale cheen lo mujhse meri jawani,

Magar Mujhko lauta do bachpan ka saawan,
woh kagaz ki kashti, woh baarish ka paani."

Its a heart touching ghazal, one of my favourites
In continuation with the ghazal, just adding something tangy treat,

Dil Chahta hai, aaj phir choti ban jaun,

Roz subah subah chutti ke bahane banaun,

Aur assembly me aankhe khol ke prayer gaun,

Wo class me chupke chupke tiffin kholu,
Aur pakde jaane par pet dard ka jhooth bolu,
Din bhar school me masti marun,
Aur bus me juniors par rob jhadun,

Wo har din homework adhura rah jaye,

aur agle din meri copy ghar par rah jaye,

Har roz doston se ruth jaoon,
aur phir bhav kha ke maan jaoon.

Dil Chahta hai aaj phir choti ban jaun.

Don't Quit

Repeat post from Ibibo (with some changes)

When things go wrong, as they sometime will,
When the road you're trudging, seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don't you quit ...

Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As everyone of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about.
When he might have won had he stuck it out:
Don’t give up though the pace seems slow –
You may succeed with another blow.

Often the Goal is nearer than,
it seems to a faint and faltering man.
Often the struggler has given up,
when he might have captured the victor's cup.
And he learned too late when the night came down,
How close he was to the golden crown?

Success is failure turned inside out –
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt
And you never can tell how close you are.
It may be near when it seems so far:
So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit –
It’s when things seem worst that you must not quit.

Did you know
A MOTORCYCLE CRASH 25 years ago changed AL FOXX from a healthy 19-year old to a person with a brain injury and partial paralysis. After years in rehabilitation, he went from being a hot tar roofer to becoming an extraordinary comic and a widely sought after speaker whose storytelling ability and contagious enthusiasm brings laughter and hope to audiences of all ages—from fortune 500 companies to universities, government agencies, churches, schools and comedy clubs. He is the founder and president of the Winners Don’t Quit Association.
So, don't quit, just give another try, and may be its all yours this time......

The Daffodils

For Wallpapers on Flowers, visit http://aditi-wallpapers.blogspot.com

It is one of my favourite poems

(written by William words worth)

I wandered lonely as a cloud

That floats on high o'er vales and hills,

When all at once I saw a crowd,

A host of golden daffodils,

Beside the lake, beneath the trees

Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

Continuous as the stars that shine

And twinkle on the milky way,

They stretched in never-ending line

Along the margin of a bay:

Ten thousand saw I at a glance

Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.

The waves beside them danced, but they

Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:-

A Poet could not but be gay

In such a jocund company!

I gazed - and gazed - but little thought

What wealth the show to me had brought.

For oft, when on my couch I lie

In vacant or in pensive mood,

They flash upon that inward eye

Which is the bliss of solitude;

And then my heart with pleasure fills

And dances with the daffodils.
